Military veteran suicide
misleading ads and military propaganda to join the military kills every 18 minutes
Military ruin of personalities and characters is evident in the overly high rate of suicide among military veterans in the USA. Veterans are only 1% of US population, yet they account for 20% of the number of suicide cases in the country. Literally, every 18 minutes, some veteran in the US kills himself. Yet, despite this horror, people continue to sign in to join the military; certainly due to the strong influence of misleading ads and military propaganda.

Unfair tax burden
US government, please raise my tax
Unfair tax burden – A group 100 US millionaires earning on average $436 million a year each, pay only 12% tax while other people in the USA who earn only $89000 a year pay as much as 20% tax. That this US tax system is so unfair to the lower income earners, was reason for this group of millionaires to appeal to president Obama to please raise their very own tax. Bravo to there millionaires for their keen sense of fairness.

New American Century – propaganda export by US Republicans
Neo Conservative Ideology of America to make the Middle East American - milk Iraq, Afghanistan
Neo Conservative Ideology of America was set up by a certain US republican team to promote what they called the New American Century as a project to be exported for world acceptance. Members included Dick Cheney, Collin Powell, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld who were to shake up the Middle East and make it American, starting with Iraq, after Afghanistan was seized following 9-11. Condolliza Rice was to push things up front.
US corruption is endemic as the following cases show. The Republican party in the USA appointed Jerry Bremer as CPA or Controller of Political Allies – the guy who announced: “We’ve got him” when Saddam Hussein was finally captured. He was specifically engaged to help the US republicans to milk Iraq by taking over the Iraqi justice system, pretending to restructure it, by taking over Iraq’s oil industry as well as all reconstruction work in Iraq, by dominating the process for setting up a new constitution for Iraq.
Jerry Bremer’s task was primarily to ensure that American Republicans and companies allied to them got the contracts to advise puppet Iraqi bodies or to directly implement changes to favour the Americans and ensure that Iraqi’s are kept out of all necessary planning.
Terrorism was actively promoted and propagated by the US government under president George W Bush as shown in details by NOS2 in a VPRO TV program on 12-9-2011. Rumsfeld was there to serve as Bush’s man on the ground in Iraq, and Bush himself was set up as presidential candidate by Dick Cheney to help his oil company sector lobby seize power in the USA. Dick Cheney himself headed the Energy Task Force to mastermind and manipulate public opinion about the horrors of 9/11 so as to sell the idea of terrorism using George W Bush.
By himself, George Bush only drinks and can hardly think nor talk intelligently. He was mainly out to develop the politics of fear. The world now knows that there was no weapon of mass destruction in Iraq, nor was Iraq involved in Al Qaida. Yet, Bush lied about both repeatedly and with considerable emphasis in international and national broadcasts. Boyish and childish national leaders like Dutch premier Balkenende quickly enlisted for involvement in the bush stupidity so as to curry American favour in the dishing out of high international appointment posts and contracts.
In Guantanamo Bay prison, illegal torture techniques including water boarding, beating and electroshocks were set up by Douglas Fein, Albert Gonzales, John Yoo and others in the service of the US government on the orders of Rumsfeld.
Francis Fukuyama – a widely read US writer (author of The great Destruction – human nature and the reconstruction of social order) supported the Neo-Conservative ideology that “You need chaos to spread democracy“. Neo-conservatism holds that just as you break an egg to make an omelet, you need to spread lies via the CIA and other organs as part of an idea to empower Israel as a US tool. The goal was to overthrow the government of Iraq and replace it with an elected democratic parliament that listens to US interests. Dick Cheney’s goal was oil – 200 billion barrels of Iraqi oil.

The American Dream – in reality a dreaded nightmare !
France, Cuba beat USA illusion in health care, education, child care and well-being - homeless people criminals
American Dream – in sad reality a dreaded nightmare
Thanks to Michael Moore‘s devotion to revelations about USA’s politically bankrupt ethics, the world now knows that the so-called American Dream is a great illusion, a myth precisely in what matters the most to anyone – health and well-being. We already knew that hundreds of thousands of homeless people who are lost in the American Dream end up waking up to roam the streets dejected, hungry and sick in the same US cities where individual billionaires each earn more than some whole countries. Is Bill Gates not worth more than Central American countries?
Recent tug of war between the US senate and President Obama about the approval of budget- limits has also revealed the shameful fact that on balance, the US government is worth less in cash than Steve Job’s Apple Computer company, although the US government is the most powerful economic force on this planet. The world’s leading economy has been that, simply by living way beyond its means. That is one odd reality of the American Dream, even if J.Maynard Keynes theory tried to justify it. But what is really the position of the USA compared to other developed countries when it comes to access to health care, child care, and education – important aspects of the American Dream?
With surprising thoroughness, investigations and TV programs run and financed wholly privately by Michael Moore and his supporters, reveal the very damaging and shameful status of the American system of health care. Whereas many hard-working, employed American residents and citizens cannot afford to get health care when they need it, because of exorbitant doctor’s and pharmaceutical bills, in the UK, anybody – jobless or not, rich or poor, can get doctor’s treatment in hospitals or clinics, complete with the required medication, without fearing the bills, because the NHS, National Health Service, covers everybody. As a result, when you are sick in the UK, you go to the doctor and you get treated without fearing difficult financial questions. The British system serves you in that essential respect.
In France, not only is health care free for everyone who goes to the doctor. When sick, you phone and the doctor comes to you for free, without asking difficult financial questions.
In addition to getting free health care, anyone in France also gets free, yet high quality child care when one needs it. As a result, more mothers are able to work full- or part time than in the USA, by putting their children in day-care centres. In the USA, since few families can afford the high cost of day-care for children, the relative number of jobless mothers wasting away on social welfare is so much higher.
Clearly, the US care system is no dream but a nightmare for most families. As university lecturer in America for years, on a salary that was quite considerable for the middle class, our analyst could not find a doctor to treat him when sick, despite paying for Blue Cross-Blue Shield health insurance. At some point, he and his pregnant wife quit America upon the birth of their child, to avoid unbearable health- and child care costs.
Ranked among the world’s countries according to the quality and accessibility of affordable health care, the USA came out among the very worst, and a shameful 34th out of 40 countries compared. Even more shameful is the fact that the loud-mouthed USA lags so far behind Cuba and India in health care, that many US citizens when really hard pressed, actually go to Cuba on short trips, just to use Cuba’s free health care service.
One of those American volunteer firefighters celebrated by George Bush as heroes of the 9/11 Terrorist Attack, could not get nor afford urgently needed medical treatment in the USA, and was taken to Cuba for free treatment by Michael Moore. One similar US patient was shocked to find that his critically needed medicine that cost him an unaffordable $720 per dosage in the USA, cost him only $0.05 (yes, 5 cents) in Cuba where he rushed to stock up the medicine. In other words, when the rich and powerful USA with its American Dream cannot take care of its own people, it is poor, small Cuba that provides care for these disappointed US citizens. The same USA holds more of its people in prisons than the population of Norway.
The most shameful point about US health care system comes to light when one looks for those who ever get good quality, free health care in the USA. Michael Moore’s search showed that only prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, and prisoners in US jails awaiting punitive execution on death penalty are given particularly superb medical care for free. If we ignore the very bad reputation of American justice system and George W. Bush‘s woeful imperfections in wrongly detaining some foreigners in Guantanamo Bay for alleged terrorism, criminals held there are better treated than good citizens on US streets.
In other words, it is a tragedy that the USA treats its legally condemned enemies of the state best, rather than its common citizens, when it comes to health care. This tragedy is the sad reality of the American Dream.
